The CAT's just mimic the NCLEX test conditions. For example, I just took the CAT 2 and it shut off at 75 q's with a green overall, just like my CAT 1. Avoid focusing on the score, the score is not going to guarantee passing or failing the NCLEX. I have heard of people getting in the high 60's-70's failing the NCLEX.Instead, focus on the the questions you get wrong, find out why you got it wrong (strategy or content) and work on improving that area.

They also suggest 60% on all your Q banks. Personally I think they are just setting the standard, and I aim for anything above 55%. You have to remember Kaplan has a 94% pass rate, and so does my nursing program (so it's helpful to know your schools pass rate).
